Ingredients

The Chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • to taste none salt
  • 1 tablespoon Za’atar seasoning

The Rice

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup water or broth

The Sweet Potatoes

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • to taste none Moroccan spices

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and Za’atar seasoning.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the pressure cooker.
  3. Pour in the water or broth and add the rice on top of the chicken.
  4. Seal the pressure cooker and cook for the recommended time for chicken.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the sweet potatoes by peeling and cutting them into cubes.
  6. Season the sweet potatoes with Moroccan spices and roast or steam them until tender.
  7. Once the chicken and rice are done, let the pressure release naturally, then serve with the sweet potatoes.
