Ingredients

  • ¾ cup creamy almond butter
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce (or 1 overripe medium banana)
  • 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp cloves
  • tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, combine almond butter, pumpkin puree, applesauce, molasses, maple syrup, and vanilla, stirring until well combined.
  3. 3. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix until smooth.
  4. 4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. 5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
