The soak

Instructions
- Mix the ingredients for the 'Apple Cider' Soak and warm it up.
- Pour the soak into the crock pot and turn it to HIGH.
- Remove the fat cap from the pork and rub it with oil, salt, and pepper.
- Apply the dry rub to the pork and place it in the crock pot.
- Nestle the onion and garlic around the pork in the crock pot.
- Cook on HIGH for 6 hours or LOW for 8-10 hours until tender.
- Remove the pork, cool for 20 minutes, and shred it.
- Discard any fat or connective tissue and save the cooking liquid.
