Ingredients

The pork

  • 3-4 pounds boneless pork butt

The seasoning

  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the pork butt.
  2. Make 5-6 slits in the pork and insert garlic cloves into each slit.
  3. Season the pork with sea salt on all sides.
  4. Place the pork in the slow cooker and drizzle with liquid smoke.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 12-16 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the pork with two forks.
  7. Drain excess liquid and return shredded pork to the slow cooker to keep warm.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
