Easiest Ever Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Ingredients

The pork

  • 8 lb pork butt (or pork shoulder)

The seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Smoked paprika

The liquid

  • 1 cup Chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Mix all the seasonings in a small bowl to create a spice rub.
  2. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork in the slow cooker.
  3. If possible, refrigerate the pork for 3 hours to 24 hours to let the rub set.
  4. Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  6. Shred the pork with two forks and serve, optionally spooning some juices over the top.
