garlic, smashed and diced

apple cider vinegar

bbq sauce, plus more for serving

Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
- Mix the spice rub ingredients in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork.
- Sear the pork in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2-4 minutes on each side.
- Combine the onion, garlic, apple cider vinegar, BBQ sauce, bourbon, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
- Place the seared pork in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over it.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours until the pork is tender and shreds easily.
- Remove the pork, shred it, and mix it with some of the leftover sauce.
- Serve the pulled pork as desired.
