Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Instructions
- Place the onion and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Trim the visible fat off the pork shoulder and cut it into large pieces if necessary.
- In a small bowl, mix the paprika, chili powder, cumin, and salt, then rub this mixture onto the pork.
- Put the pork in the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, combine the vinegar, tomato sauce, and maple syrup, then pour this sauce over the pork.
- Cook on low for 8 hours to allow flavors to meld and for easy shredding.
- After cooking, shred the pork using two forks.
- Puree the remaining sauce and serve it over the shredded pork.
