Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ¾ tsp baking powder

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line 24 muffin cups with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and sugars together until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour mixture and milk, alternating between the two, ending with the dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
  6. Pour about ¼ cup of batter into each muffin cup and bake for about 20 minutes, checking with a toothpick.
  7. Cool the cupcakes on a wire rack before removing the paper liners.
