Restaurant Style Veal Parmesan

The veal and breading

flour seasoned with sea salt and black pepper

egg wash (2 eggs whipped with water or milk)

Italian seasoned bread crumbs

prosciutto (2 thin slices)
The sauce and cheese

spaghetti sauce

mozzarella cheese, shredded

grated Romano cheese

Italian parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pound out the veal slices and seam them together if necessary.
- Set up a breading station with seasoned flour, egg wash, and bread crumbs.
- Coat the veal cutlet with flour, dip in egg wash, and then coat with bread crumbs.
- Heat about ½ inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and pan-fry the veal cutlet until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain the fried cutlets on a rack.
- On a sheet pan, add a little marinara sauce and place the fried cutlet on top.
- Layer the prosciutto, more marinara sauce, grated Romano cheese, and shredded mozzarella on top.
- Bake in a 350°F oven for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve with your favorite pasta.
