Cranberry Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip

Cream Cheese Mixture

softened 1/3 less fat cream cheese

shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

crackers, crostini, apples, cucumbers for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
- Combine all cranberry mixture ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium until boiling.
- Reduce heat and allow cranberries to burst for about 8-10 minutes, then mash them.
- Continue heating until the mixture thickens, then set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, 1 cup of cheddar, garlic powder, and salt.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture into a small casserole dish.
- Pour the cranberry mixture on top and sprinkle with ¾ cup of cheddar.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until bubbling, then top with green onion and let cool before serving.
