Ingredients

The calamari

  • 1 pound calamari (squid in tubes, sliced into rings)

For grilling

  • 2 pieces lemons (for grilling and juice)
  • to taste sea salt
  • to taste fresh ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Slice the calamari into rings and skewer them.
  2. Preheat the grill and place the skewered calamari and lemons on it.
  3. Grill until the calamari reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the grill and finish with lemon juice, lemon zest, sea salt, and fresh ground pepper.
