Instructions
- Slice the chicken breast in half lengthwise and season with black pepper, salt, ground cumin, and smoked paprika. Coat with flour.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 4 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- Remove excess oil from the skillet and lower the heat. Add butter, flour, minced garlic, and mushrooms, cooking for 3 minutes.
- Add marsala wine and chicken stock to the skillet, cooking for 4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, garlic powder, and ground thyme, allowing to cook for 7 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the sauce and simmer for about 3 minutes before serving.
