Progresso™ Chicken Stock

heavy cream (optional)
Seasoning

Salt and freshly ground black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Puree the canned tomatoes in a blender until smooth.
- Add garlic to the pot and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the pureed tomatoes and chicken stock, bringing it to a gentle bubble.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to thicken.
- Stir in half of the basil and season with salt and pepper if desired.
- Serve warm, drizzling each bowl with cream if using, and sprinkle with remaining basil.
