Ingredients

The sliders

  • 12 rolls Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 8 oz roasted chicken deli lunch meat
  • 8 oz smoked turkey deli lunch meat
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

The olive salad spread

  • ½ cup pitted green olives
  • ½ cup pitted kalamata olives
  • ½ cup white onions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp capers
  • cup mild banana peppers
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • cup olive oil
  • cup red wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Make the olive salad spread by pulsing green olives, kalamata olives, onions, capers, banana peppers, parsley, turmeric, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and olive oil in a food processor until chunky.
  3. Transfer the olive salad to a jar, add red wine vinegar, close with a lid, and refrigerate.
  4. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the top and bottom halves attached.
  5. Layer the bottom half of the rolls with provolone cheese, olive salad, pepper jack cheese, chicken, turkey, and more provolone cheese.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  7. Combine melted butter, parsley, parmesan cheese, and minced garlic, then pour over the sliders.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees and serve immediately.
