Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegan butter

  • 1 cup vegan semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the vegan butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. In a small bowl, dissolve the baking soda in hot water, then stir in vanilla, vegan milk, and salt into the sugar mixture.
  4. Mix in the flour and chocolate chips until well combined.
  5. Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring enough space between each.
  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the edges are nicely browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
