Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the vegan butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the baking soda in hot water, then stir in vanilla, vegan milk, and salt into the sugar mixture.
- Mix in the flour and chocolate chips until well combined.
- Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring enough space between each.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the edges are nicely browned.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
