Spiced Cranberry Hot Toddy

Instructions
- Combine cranberry juice, orange, cinnamon sticks, ginger, peppercorns, cloves, and star anise in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low, partially cover, and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cover completely for a few more minutes.
- Strain the mixture back into the pan and stir in honey to taste.
- Pour 1 ½ to 2 ounces of bourbon into each glass and top with the hot spiced cranberry juice. Stir and serve hot.
