Blood Orange Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 small ripe banana (previously peeled, sliced + frozen)
  • ¾ cup frozen pineapple (or sub more banana)
  • 2 pieces blood oranges, juiced
  • ¾ cup light coconut milk (carton beverage or canned)
  • 2-3 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 big handfuls fresh or frozen greens (kale + spinach are best)

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients until creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Add more liquid if blending is difficult, or add ice to thicken.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more banana or lime juice.
  4. Best served fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
