Instructions
- 1. Set the Instant Pot to Sauté mode and heat the oil.
- 2. Add the ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, garlic, and green bell pepper; cook until browned.
- 3. Drain excess grease and return the insert to the pot.
- 4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste, scraping any browned bits from the bottom.
- 5. Add the bay leaf, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- 6. Secure the lid and set the Instant Pot to Manual High Pressure for 7 minutes.
- 7. Once done, perform a Quick Release of the pressure and remove the lid.
- 8. Discard the bay leaf and stir in the grated parmesan; adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 9. Transfer the cooked spaghetti noodles into the sauce and toss together for 1-2 minutes.
- 10. Serve in bowls topped with additional grated parmesan.
