Ingredients

The broth

  • 3 whole lemons
  • ½ cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 whole onion

The seafood

  • 3 whole lobster tails
  • 1 pound clams
  • 1 pound crab legs
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1 pound smoked sausage

The vegetables

  • 1 pound small Yukon gold potatoes
  • 4 ears corn on the cob

Finishing touches

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut 2 lemons into quarters and slice the remaining lemon into wedges for garnish.
  2. Fill a large pot with 14-16 cups of water and add the quartered lemons, Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the potatoes to the pot and cook for 8 minutes.
  4. Add the lobster tails and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the clams, crab, and corn, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Add the shrimp and sausage, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drain the seafood mixture, reserving 1 cup of the broth.
  8. Melt the butter and whisk it into the reserved broth, then pour it over the seafood mixture.
  9. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges, sprinkle with additional Old Bay seasoning, and serve immediately.
