Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix flour, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder on a plate.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, parmesan, and basil.
- Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, then add flour and garlic, cooking briefly.
- Pour in white wine and chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
- Add lemon juice and season the sauce to taste.
- Return chicken to the skillet and cook briefly before serving garnished with parsley.
