Ingredients

  • 1 cup fine ground almond flour
  • ½ cup oat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup creamy almond butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 5 tablespoons apple sauce
  • ½ - ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make a well in the center and add the almond butter, maple syrup, and apple sauce.
  4. Mix everything until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans if using.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 17-19 minutes until golden.
