Homemade BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons grated white onion
  • 1 tablespoon grated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine all BBQ sauce ingredients in the pan and mix well.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  6. Transfer the cooled BBQ sauce to a mason jar, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
