Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes

The creamy mixture

Instructions
- Add potatoes and 1 tsp salt to the Instant Pot and cover with cold water. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- While the potatoes cook, heat half and half, cream cheese, and garlic in a saucepan until simmering, then set aside.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the Instant Pot. Mash them quickly, then add the cream mixture, remaining salt, and pepper.
- Mash until smooth, top with chives, and serve.
