Ingredients

The mousse

  • 1 14.5 ounce can coconut cream or full-fat coconut milk
  • ½ cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The garnishes

  • to taste cacao powder or shaved chocolate
  • to taste dairy-free whipped cream
  • to taste fresh raspberries
  • to taste flaky salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the coconut cream or milk in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave or over simmering water until smooth.
  3. Combine the melted chocolate with the coconut cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly among four small cups.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to thicken to a mousse consistency.
  6. Top with your choice of garnishes before serving.
