Maple Berry Skillet Cake

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch or 9-inch cast iron skillet.
- In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the maple syrup, mashed banana, milk, egg, melted oil or butter, and vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir to combine.
- Fold in the mixed berries, cutting large strawberries in half if used.
- Transfer the batter to the skillet and bake for 50 to 55 minutes until light brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
