Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 pound pizza dough

The toppings

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 large bunch broccoli rabe
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • cup kalamata olives
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • 8-10 slices pepperoni
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces fresh burrata cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add broccoli rabe, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until wilted.
  3. Add crushed red pepper flakes and garlic to the skillet and cook briefly.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and place it on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Spoon some oil from the skillet over the dough, then layer on olives, broccoli rabe, half of the basil, mozzarella, and pepperoni.
  6. Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Add burrata on top and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with remaining basil, salt, and pepper before serving.
