Burrata Pizza

Homemade Whole Wheat Pizza Dough or store-bought pizza dough

pizza sauce or pesto sauce

cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes, halved

burrata cheese

flaky sea salt (such as Maldon or fleur de sel)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 500°F and place a pizza stone in the lower third of the oven.
- Prepare a large sheet of parchment paper and coat it with nonstick spray. Place the dough in the center and mist the top with nonstick spray.
- Roll the dough into a circle, about 10 inches in diameter, then cover with another sheet of parchment and roll to about 11½ inches.
- Dust the top of the dough lightly with flour and transfer it to a pizza peel dusted with flour.
- Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a border for the crust, and scatter the halved cherry tomatoes on top.
- Carefully slide the dough onto the hot pizza stone and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle the burrata over the top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the burrata is melty and hot.
- Transfer the pizza to a cutting board, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and flaky salt, add fresh basil, slice, and serve.
