Ingredients

The pizza

  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 unit roasted red pepper, julienned
  • 4–6 oz. crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 1 unit balsamic reduction for drizzle

The steak

  • 1 unit new york strip steak, cooked then thinly sliced

The dough

  • 1 unit homemade whole wheat pizza dough

Instructions

  1. Make your own homemade whole wheat pizza dough.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  3. Heat a grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Season the new york strip steak with salt and pepper on both sides and grill each side for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to the desired size and move it to a baking sheet.
  6. Spread the olive oil, minced garlic, roasted red pepper, and crumbled goat cheese evenly on the dough.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and top with thinly sliced new york strip steak and fresh arugula.
  9. Drizzle with balsamic reduction, cut, and serve.
