Skillet Teriyaki Meatballs

The meatballs

Instructions
- Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients except oil and green onions, and mix well.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 2 inches in size.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Add meatballs in a single layer and brown on all sides.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs and gently coat them.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes until meatballs are cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over hot cooked rice, quinoa, or couscous, garnished with green onions if desired.
