Instructions
- Crumble the tempeh to resemble ground beef consistency.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan.
- Add diced red onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until slightly translucent.
- Add the crumbled tempeh and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Mix the spices in a small bowl.
- Add the spices and water to the pan with tempeh, stirring until evenly coated.
- Let it heat through and simmer for about 10-12 minutes until most water has evaporated.
- Serve the taco filling with your favorite tortillas or taco shells.
