Instructions
- Combine buttermilk, sea salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger, garlic, onion, and Italian seasoning in a bowl and whisk together.
- Cover chicken tenders with the buttermilk mixture in a baking dish and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Remove chicken from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
- Mix all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl for dredging.
- Prepare a plate with paper towels to drain excess grease after frying.
- Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350-365°F.
- Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, and coat in the flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken tenders in hot oil for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain cooked chicken on the prepared plate or wire rack.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
