Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 12 oz boneless and skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun spice
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 300 ml buttermilk

Flour Mixture

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Oil for deep frying

Spiced Oil

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon frying oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken tenders with spices and buttermilk for 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare the flour mixture by combining flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Remove chicken from marinade and coat with the flour mixture, letting it rest for 20 minutes.
  4. Dip the chicken in the flour mixture again before frying.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the chicken for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain excess oil and drizzle spiced oil over the chicken before serving.
