Creamy Garlic Herb Mushroom Spaghetti

Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions and set aside, tossing with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat, add one clove of garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and softened.
- In the same pan, melt the remaining butter, add garlic, and sauté. Stir in flour and herbes de provence, then slowly add milk while whisking. Let it simmer until thickened, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Combine the sauce, pasta, and mushrooms. Add olive oil and optional liquid as needed, and stir in parsley before serving.
