Ingredients

  • cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons water (to thin the sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, tamari, lime juice, maple syrup, and sriracha.
  2. Finely mince the ginger and garlic and add them to the bowl.
  3. Whisk the mixture until well combined; it will be thick.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of water and whisk again until the sauce is thinner.
  5. If needed, add another tablespoon of water to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
