Ingredients

The peppers

  • 2 medium-sized red peppers

Optional seasoning

  • drizzle none olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Place the peppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with olive oil if using.
  3. Roast for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through until the skins are popping and crisp.
  4. Wrap the roasted peppers in foil or place in a plastic bag for about 5 minutes to steam.
  5. Peel the skin off the peppers, which should come off easily after steaming.
  6. Cut the peppers as needed and use them in your recipes.
