Ingredients

The peppers

  • 4 pieces red bell peppers

Optional seasonings

  • to taste Kosher salt or sea salt
  • to taste Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the bell peppers in half, removing the stem, membrane, and seeds.
  3. Place the peppers cut-side down on the baking sheet, ensuring they are not crowded.
  4. Roast the peppers for about 25 minutes until tender and charred, rotating the pans halfway through.
  5. Transfer the hot peppers to a mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap to steam and cool.
  6. Once cooled, remove the skins from the peppers.
  7. Slice the peppers into strips and use immediately or store in the refrigerator.
