Homemade Roasted Red Peppers

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450ºF and line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Cut the peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and white veins, and place them cut-side down on the parchment paper.
- Roast the peppers in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes until the skin is blistery and charred.
- Place the roasted peppers in a large bowl and cover with plastic wrap or a cloth to let them sit for at least 20 minutes.
- Once cool enough to handle, remove the skin and discard it.
- Store the peeled peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
