Ingredients

Pumpkin Spice Syrup

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1⅔ cups water
  • tablespoons ground pumpkin spice blend
  • cup canned pumpkin purée
  • a pinch kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 shot espresso or strongly brewed coffee
  • 3 tablespoons Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  • to taste ice

Instructions

  1. Make the Pumpkin Spice Syrup by simmering brown sugar, granulated sugar, water, pumpkin spice, pumpkin purée, and salt in a saucepan for 15 minutes.
  2. Let the syrup cool for another 15 minutes before straining and stirring in vanilla extract.
  3. To make the iced latte, cool the espresso shot to room temperature.
  4. Fill a glass with ice and set it aside.
  5. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the cooled espresso, Pumpkin Spice Syrup, and milk.
  6. Shake until very cold and pour into the prepared glass, including the foam.
