For the Jalapeno Agave Simple Syrup

turbinado sugar

Instructions
- Combine water, turbinado sugar, agave nectar, and jalapeno slices in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Add tequila, lime juice, jalapeno agave simple syrup, and grapefruit juice to the glass and stir.
- Top with sparkling pink grapefruit spritzer.
- Garnish with lime and a slice of jalapeno if desired.
