Ingredients

  • 6 oz pink or ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 3 oz tequila
  • 1–1½ oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • to taste sparkling water (optional)
  • to taste coarse salt for glass rims (optional)
  • as needed ice

Instructions

  1. Juice the grapefruits and limes, then pour the juice into a jar or small pitcher.
  2. Stir in honey if using and add the tequila, mixing well.
  3. To salt the rims of the glasses, rub a lime wedge along the rim and coat it in coarse salt.
  4. Fill the glasses with ice and pour the juice mixture over, leaving room for sparkling water if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.
