Ingredients

The salmon

  • 1 1-1/2 pounds raw salmon
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

The pasta salad

  • 8-10 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 1-1/2 cups mayo, plain Greek yogurt, or sour cream
  • 2-3 cups fresh or steamed broccoli
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced olives
  • 1 teaspoon chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer or oven for cooking the salmon.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and coat it with the spices.
  3. Cook the salmon using your preferred method (air fryer, baked, or pan-seared) until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  4. Cool the salmon and flake it into smaller pieces.
  5. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions, then rinse and pat dry.
  6. In a serving dish, mix together the mayo, Greek yogurt, or sour cream with ranch seasoning.
  7. Add the cooked pasta, flaked salmon, and remaining ingredients to the bowl.
  8. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  9. Chill for 1-2 hours if desired, or serve immediately.
