Ingredients

The pasta and veggies

  • 16 oz bowtie pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 medium zucchini, diced
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
  • cup banana peppers, chopped

The dressing and cheese

  • 1 batch Italian dressing
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, chopped
  • cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. 2. In the last two minutes of cooking, add the chopped broccoli to the pasta.
  3. 3. Drain the pasta and broccoli and rinse them in cold water.
  4. 4. Chop the remaining veggies, cheese, and basil, and prepare the dressing.
  5. 5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped veggies, cheese, basil, and dressing. Toss to combine.
  6. 6. Taste and season if needed, then serve at room temperature or cold.
