Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare the biscuit dough by mixing the dry ingredients in a food processor, then adding chilled butter and sour cream.
- Shape the dough into a rectangle, fold it, and cut it into pieces before placing them on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with a sour cream and water mixture, sprinkle with salt, and bake until golden brown.
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil and cook the ground chicken with Cajun seasoning until browned.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery until softened.
- Add flour to the vegetables, then gradually stir in milk to create a gravy, allowing it to thicken.
- Finish the gravy with apple cider vinegar, crushed red pepper flakes, and the cooked chicken, then serve with the biscuits.
