Ingredients

The cookie dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 3/4 oz butterscotch instant pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

The chips

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Mix in the butterscotch pudding mix, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for two minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
