Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 3/4 oz. chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

The mix-ins

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 cups Mini Robin Eggs colored malted milk Easter candy, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. In a mixer, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth. Add the pudding mix, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Mini Robin Eggs.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are set but still soft in the middle. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
