Jello Worms
Ingredients
The jello mixture

unflavored gelatin

whipping cream

green food coloring
The straws

plastic straws with bendable necks
Instructions
- Choose a container that can hold at least 4 cups of liquid and pack the straws tightly in it.
- In a heat-safe mixing bowl, stir together the flavored and unflavored gelatin powders.
- Pour boiling water over the gelatin and stir until dissolved, then let cool slightly.
- Stir in the whipping cream and add green food coloring to achieve desired color.
- Place the container of straws in a larger dish to catch spills and gently pour the jello mixture over the straws.
- Chill the straws in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours until the jello is set.
- Remove the container from the fridge and run warm water over the sides to help extract the straws.
- Gently squeeze each straw to push the jello worms out and place them on a tray lined with wax paper.
- Refrigerate the worms until ready to serve.
