Bubble Up Chicken Alfredo Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 12 oz cooked shredded or chopped chicken breast
  • 15 oz light alfredo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium chicken broth or water
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (7.5 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 oz 2% shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly mist a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. 2. Microwave the broccoli florets for 2 minutes covered with a damp paper towel.
  3. 3. In the baking dish, combine the chicken, broccoli, alfredo sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
  4. 4. Add the biscuit pieces and mix to coat them in the sauce.
  5. 5. Bake the mixture for 25 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
