Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 lb. Fresh Pizza Dough
  • cup Pastry Flour

The toppings

  • 13 oz. Roasted Chicken Sausage
  • 28 oz. Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 lb. Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • 12 oz. Pepper Jack Cheese Shredded
  • 5 oz. Fresh Mushrooms
  • ½ each Red Bell Pepper
  • ½ each Green Bell Pepper
  • ½ each Yellow Onion
  • ½ cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1 tbsp Oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Chop the vegetables, mozzarella cheese, and sausage into small pieces.
  3. Heat a cooking pan to medium, add oil, and cook the vegetables with oregano for 8 minutes.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side and cook the sausage for 7 minutes on the other side.
  5. Remove from heat and set aside.
  6. Flour a clean countertop and form the pizza dough into a 15-inch circle.
  7. Place the dough into a springform pan, allowing the edges to hang over.
  8. Layer the bottom with chopped mozzarella and 8 ounces of Pepper Jack cheese.
  9. Add the cooked vegetables and a layer of chicken sausage, reserving some sausage for topping.
  10. Strain the crushed tomatoes and spread them over the pizza, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  11. Top with the remaining Pepper Jack cheese and chicken sausage.
  12. Fold the dough edges inward and place the springform pan on a baking sheet.
  13. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 400°F and bake for another 15 minutes.
  14. Remove from heat and let cool for 20-30 minutes before serving.
