Slow Cooked Sweet Barbacoa Pork

Instructions
- Season the pork with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then place it in the crock pot.
- Add 6 oz of coke and ¼ cup of brown sugar, and marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight, turning the meat at least once.
- Remove the crock from the refrigerator, add water, and cook on high for about 3-4 hours until the pork shreds easily.
- Remove the pork from the crock pot and discard any remaining liquid.
- Shred the pork using two forks.
- In the crock pot, combine 8 oz of coke, green chilies, tomato sauce, chipotle chile, garlic powder, cumin, chipotle chili powder, and the remaining brown sugar.
- Return the shredded pork to the crock pot and mix with the sauce, adjusting salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 1½ hours.
