Ingredients

The cocoa

  • 4 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses
  • ⅓ – ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. ground allspice
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger
  • tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • pinch sea salt
  • cup Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Optional topping

  • 1 cup whipped coconut cream

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat and whisk to combine.
  2. Heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, until hot.
  3. Ladle the hot cocoa into mugs and top with whipped coconut cream if desired.
  4. Store any unused portion in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat when ready to serve.
